    The Network "Partnership Against Violent Radicalization in Cities" (PRACTICIES) mobilizes networks of European cities, experts in human sciences, politics, information sciences to better understand the human roots of violent radicalization, to characterize these processes starting from their origins and building concrete tools and prevention practices. PRACTICIES is an R & I project EU-funded with H2020.

  • Toolbox (1/4): Extremist content analysis tool

    The first toolbox was about the extremist content analysis tool developed through the project for law enforcement, security and intelligence agencies.

  • Toolbox (2/4): Citizens’ agora - a tool to strengthen democratic participation

    The second toolbox was about citizens’ agoras as a way to foster citizen participation and empowerment at the local level, which the PRACTICIES consortium has identified as key factors in preventing polarisation and radicalisation.

  • Toolbox (3/4) FR: Digital Me ou raconter des histoires pour prévenir l’extrémisme violent

    La troisième toolbox portait sur Digital Me, une initiative mise en place à Bruxelles pour permettre à des jeunes de deux quartiers défavorisés affectés par des phénomènes de radicalisation de raconter une histoire personnelle dans un vidéo clip qu’ils peuvent ensuite partager sur les réseaux sociaux.

  • Toolbox (4/4): Newscraft - a serious game for media literacy

    The fourth toolbox was about the serious game Newscraft developed by the project to teach media literacy to young people in order to strengthen their resilience against extremist discourses, conspiracy theories and fake news.
